Seb and Nina met in January 2020 when Seb was assigned from his post in Georgia to serve as State Director of New Hampshire for the Republican National Committee. Nina was already on the ground working as Communications Director for Maine and New Hampshire, and the two immediately hit it off—bonding over Seb’s dry humor, the demands of the campaign trail, and the fact that they had the exact same order at the 110 Grill bar (Tanqueray, soda, lime).

Not long after Seb set up shop in New Hampshire, the pandemic hit. The team went virtual, and Nina convinced Seb to come up to Maine.

There, she taught him how to catch fish with his bare hands, introduced him to the cats, and somehow managed to get him to secretly date her (must have been all the cheap lobster).

That June, they snuck away on their first trip to Nashville and immediately fell in love with Tennessee—and Franklin’s way of life.

They continued through the 2020 campaign cycle in their respective roles, hiding their relationship from the staff (except for Bri, who knew the whole time and is a very good secret keeper).

Following the 2020 General Election, Seb and Nina headed to Georgia for the Senate runoff elections, then returned to New Hampshire for the 2022 cycle.

In 2023, they decided they were ready to leave the New England cold behind and start a life in Tennessee.

They bought their first home on October 30, 2023, and moved down in November. Since then, life has been nonstop.

From working on the house to learning important lessons—like what not to put down a garbage disposal—they enjoyed settling in.

Then, on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Treasure Island, Florida, Seb finally made it official. After five long years of dating, he asked Nina to marry him.

It was about time.

No matter what they are doing or where they are, if Nina and Seb are together, you can bet they are having fun.

Now, they are looking forward to spending an intimate day with family and friends as they celebrate their love in the beautiful town they call home: Franklin, Tennessee.
